Efficient fuel utilisation: This is ensured by the economical and reliable Euro VI engine. With the standard PowerShift Advanced automatic transmission, you will be driving confidently and with foresight. Proximity Control Assist also supports a relaxed, safe and economical driving style.
Engines for distribution haulage.
The Euro VI engines have been specially designed for your requirements in distribution haulage. They offer an engine output of up to 220 kW (299 hp) and a maximum torque of up to 1,200 Nm. In total, seven Euro VI engine variants are available, which can be combined with a wide range of manual and automated transmissions depending on the performance class. This enables precise adaptation to your requirements.

In the Atego, you can engage the gear that suits you best: The PowerShift Advanced automatic gearshift system ensures precise gear selection, short gearshift times, a high level of driving comfort as well as smooth and comfortable driving. Upon request, the truck is also available with manual transmission featuring pneumatic shift assistance. Additionally, the Atego offers a well-thought-out storage concept, providing you with order and overview in the cab. Naturally, you also have a clear overview on the road: The area behind the vehicle is visible thanks to a reversing camera.
High-quality interior design.
Air-sprung seats from standard to air-conditioned, versatile multimedia usage and a cockpit tailored to your taste: You have numerous configuration options for the interior of your truck.
Classic Cockpit, Comfort Cockpit and Standard Cockpit: It's your choice. In the standard cockpit, everything is within easy reach, from cup holders to power sockets and storage compartments. All the equipment in the Classic Cockpit is ergonomic. The equipment also includes an ashtray and a cigarette lighter with socket function. In the Comfort Cockpit, you have plenty of additional storage space. Upon request, additional storage space can be created under the dash support with an extended stowage area.
You will sit comfortably here: Controls are arranged intuitively, the seat cushions are particularly wide and the adjustment range particularly ample. The standard swing seat is air-sprung and has a soft flat fabric cover. An optional air-conditioned swing seat is also available.
Whether it's traffic news or your favourite tracks: Your radio infotainment system makes every journey easier. Upon request, a pre-installation for multimedia use, such as commercial navigation systems, telephone, or MP3 player, is also available. Voice output is provided via the vehicle's speakers.

Assistance systems such as Active Brake Assist 6 or Active Sideguard Assist 2 provide you with an extra share of driving safety in urban traffic – when turning at complex junctions, when manoeuvring, in stop‑and‑go traffic and where every centimetre counts.
Safety on both sides as standard: The latest-generation Active Sideguard Assist provides even further enhanced assistance when changing lanes, overtaking, and turning in complex situations.
Keeping an eye on everything: Front Guard Assist can monitor the area in front of the vehicle and issue warning signals in case of potential hazards – for safer moving off, manoeuvering, and turning.
Maintaining a safe distance: Proximity Control Assist can monitor the distance to the vehicle ahead and automatically adjust the vehicle's speed. Moreover, Predictive Powertrain Control can, when necessary, predictively adjust the distance to utilize momentum phases - without compromising the safety distance.

Mercedes‑Benz Trucks Uptime checks the status of many of your truck's systems when it is started up. It can detect critical states and sends predictive repair and maintenance instructions. This allows you to react faster and avoid predictable breakdowns as much as possible. Downtimes are reduced. As are associated costs.

Warranty

In addition to the 12‑month warranty with unlimited mileage for the complete vehicle, the extended Mercedes‑Benz Trucks warranty extends to 36 months for parts of the drivetrain. It affects parts groups for the engine, transmission, propeller shaft(s) and drive axle(s) up to max. 250,000 km depending on the type of use.
