The new eActros 600

Charged to change

All-electric, sustainable, profitable: the eActros 600 for the long-haul is ready and heralds a new era in the transport industry. The game changer from Mercedes‑Benz Trucks is here.

Highlights

Time for a new chapter.

The all-electric eActros 600 is not only sustainable and profitable. It is part of an integrated solution to help you get started with eMobility: it includes eConsulting for the questions that arise for your business, custom financial options and helpful digital services.

Made for long distances. With a groundbreaking range of 500 kilometres without recharging, the eActros 600 is bound to impress.10

Smart and powerful. With a peak output of 600 kW, the eActros 600's innovative eAxle delivers the power needed for a tough daily transport routine. All of this with top efficiency, thanks to Predictive Powertrain Control.

With megawatt charging, the eActros 600 charges its long-life lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries from 20% to 80% in approx. 30 minutes9 for shorter charging stops and more time on the road.

Energy cost calculator

A profitable investment.

Switching to eMobility is worth it: determine your potential energy cost savings quickly and easily now (diesel compared with electricity), which account for the largest share of your total costs.

Your Mercedes‑Benz Trucks dealer will create an individual comparison for you.

The result is a calculation based on a few basic data records. Your dealer will be happy to calculate for you individually whether eMobility is still worthwhile for you.

* The results of this simulation are estimates that are based on your input and look at a period over five years. The calculation was based on: Diesel consumption: 26.0 l/100 km, power consumption: 119 kWh/100 km. The consumption may vary in specific applications. It depends on many factors, such as vehicle equipment, load, route profile, speed, driver’s driving style, tyres, weather conditions and more. The calculation tool and its results in no way constitute an assurance or warranty on the part of Daimler Truck AG or any other company. All stated prices and costs excluding VAT and in €.

Range

Electrified efficiency.

Long distance without charging worries: the eActros 600 can cover a range of 500 km without recharging.10 And with its megawatt charging system, it can charge from 20% to 80% in around 30 minutes.9 Its drive system creates extra power. What's more, the lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries don't require nickel or cobalt and offer huge advantages when it comes to both service life and energy flow.

Range

Electrified efficiency.

Drivetrain: full steam ahead.

On uphill gradients or when accelerating: efficient driving requires the right drive power. The new eAxle is specially designed for this purpose. With 400 kW of continuous electric power and a peak output of 600 kW, it powerfully brings the eActros 600 forward and uphill. With 4‑speed transmission technology and the Predictive Powertrain Control system, energy consumption can be reduced by as much as 50% compared with diesel-powered vehicles.

LFP battery: charged for big things.

Sustainable and economical, silent and full of power: With newly developed lithium iron phosphate batteries, the eActros 600 offers you a complete package of excellent features:

  • Range: 500 km without recharging1
  • Service life of up to 1,200,000 km
  • Megawatt charging from 20% to 80% in about 30 minutes2
  • Sustainable battery cell design without cobalt or nickel
  • Six-year warranty

1 The range has been determined internally under specific test conditions, after preconditioning with a 4x2 semitrailer tractor with a gross vehicle combination weight of 40 t, at an ambient temperature of 20°C in long-distance operation, and can deviate from the values determined in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2017/2400.

2 Based on internal simulations because a binding and universal Megawatt Charging System (MCS) standard is currently still in development.

* This is an expert assessment based on various assumptions and data as well as the selected user inputs with regard to vehicle model, annual mileage, energy mix, semitrailer, load, ambient temperature and area of use. The CO2 savings potential was determined internally under the following specific conditions and may deviate from the values determined in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2017/2400. This information is not legally binding. The estimate is based on a well-to-wheel analysis (WTW) and only takes into account carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. The CO2 emissions of the eActros are determined using the underlying annual distance driven (user input), energy consumption, the specific CO2 emissions of the energy mix (user input) and the charging efficiency. The energy consumption of the eActros is determined based on internal simulations, taking into account the selected user inputs (vehicle model, semitrailer, load, ambient temperature and area of use). The area of use corresponds to the driving profiles for regional distribution transport or long-distance haulage according to the European Commission’s Vehicle Energy Consumption Calculation Tool (VECTO). Topography was generally not taken into account separately. No preconditioning of the battery is used as a basis. ** The values for the specific CO2 emissions of the selected energy mix are based on 2022 WTW data provided by Sphera Solutions GmbH. If the user selects a country for the energy mix, the average energy mix of the respective country is used as the basis. If the user selects an energy source for the energy mix, the EU average for the respective energy source is used as the basis. The calculation is based on a charging efficiency of 95%. The energy consumption of the Actros with combustion engine is based on the selected user inputs with regard to annual distance, energy mix, semitrailer, load and area of use. The ambient temperature is assumed to be 20°C. In real cases, differences may apply due to deviations in vehicle configuration, route, traffic conditions, individual driving style and other factors. The value for the specific CO2 emissions of diesel is based on data from 2022 provided by Sphera Solutions GmbH (tbc) for well-to-tank (WWT) and from the Vehicle Energy Consumption Calculation Tool (VECTO) from the European Commission for tank-to-wheel (TTW).
